Sometimes I really do have to pinch myself. Here’s one of those generic, but unique messages. I think it can be both at once… yeah, it can. :-)
I’m a very lucky girl! I have the most wonderful and supportive boyfriend I could ever wish for. He’s got the biggest, kindest heart, the best cheeky face, the loveliest smile and the best intentions.
This time last year I would have bet £500 that I wasn’t going to be in a relationship to start the New Year with. Hope you think you’re stupid now for not placing a bet with me! You could have been £500 richer…
I feel as if our relationship has only got stronger and stronger, with the odd teeny tiny bump along the way. Sometimes I sit in his living room, and listen to his neighbours shouting at each other for ages, and am so thankful I’ve not got anybody like that. Well, I wouldn’t stand for it anyway!!! I don’t take rubbish any more. Just goes to show, if you let yourself have someone you deserve, you will be treated right and you will ultimately be with the right person.
I’ve noticed lately that a lot of people have been breaking up, out of their long term relationships and it makes me realise how tight me and JG are.
We’ve got loads to look forward to. Christmas, exchanging pressies and a well-deserved Harry Potter marathon with apple and cinnamon pie and custard! Then shortly after Christmas is our very first anniversary!! We’re hoping to book a gorgeous hotel in Henley-on-Thames, if they have any rooms left. This means a 3 course dinner, one night’s stay, a spa treatment, full use of the pool and spa and a full breakfast. It is LUSH! It’s called Danesfield House. Beautiful. If we don’t manage to get a room there then I’m sure we’ll find somewhere else, but wherever we go it’ll be such a special day. Following that, we’ve got New Years Eve at Chris and Sarah’s place, and then it’s Jules birthday then Norway! And then Valentines Day!!! So much to look forward to!
This is going to sound really cheesy… but there’s not really another way to say it. I feel so calm, relaxed and totally safe and in love when I lie in his arms. Sometimes I feel like I could cry! (Yeah, ta hormones…!). I’m the happiest person. I miss him when I don’t see him and can’t wait for the next time either.
I actually just cut that paragraph short because I was beginning to get carried away. Hehe, woops.
I love you JG, I can’t tell you enough how much you mean to me <3

Potential Camp…?

I’ve received a lovely email from a GORGEOUS all-girls camp in Vermont and they want to speak to me this evening! It looks like the perfect camp for me. I hope now I can impress them over the phone and secure a place there!

Pink Jumpsuits and Michael Ball

So today I was sporting a baby pink jumpsuit and found myself outside of Michael Ball’s dressing room.

I swear it isn’t what it sounds like…

Was working @ BBC White City today (7am call time in London on a Sunday…!) for a programme called ‘Little Crackers’ which is airing this Christmas. I was hoping they would let me wear my jeans, as on every other set and tv programme, but they gave me this baby pink jumpsuit… but so glad they did, it was brilliant! Quirky :p

Shoot lasted around 8 hours which isn’t too bad, went really quickly and was working with LN again which was cool! Also Sally Lindsay was the lead in this Little Crackers ep.

Went back to JG’s after and crashed in his bed, & he came up and lit a vanilla frosting candle when I was asleep (one of the Yankee Candle ones) and left me to catch some Zs. It was the cutest thing! I am going to miss him SO much when I go away, I can’t even really bear to think about it. He’s my best friend.

So aside from this and a gorgeous roast made by my lovely Mum this evening, I’ve been thinking of things to buy for my new flat! Granted, it’s only little, but it’s mine and I will make it look gorgeous. Bought some coffee/tea/sugar pots already, and a baking tray. Things are definitely going on the Christmas list!

We announced our new show at Hertford Theatretrain on Saturday, and we’re going with Alice in Wonderland (‘Alice’ by Laura Wade, more specifically), as it is some of the Biggies last show, and so we decided to go with their decision (it was more the littlies that wanted to do Toy Story), but either show would be great fun to produce and design as a production! Bring it on. :-)

Take a Day Off Work and You Might End Up Having Lunch With Tim Roth and Cillian Murphy.

When you have your own space and time… you don’t always know what to do with it!

In other words, the boyfriend is busy so I’m wondering what to do with myself…
That sounded so wrong. Interpret that as you will.

So I’m going to blog about how I had lunch with Tim Roth and Cillian Murphy the other day. You’re waiting for me to say ‘only joking’, I know, but this GENUINLY HAPPENED. Yep. Pulp Fiction, The Incredible Hulk, Planet of the Apes, Reservoir Dogs and Inception all in one meal of fish and chips. (Ok, so I had to put a pound in the ‘Fat Jar’ but whatever. Reread the names. Know what I’m saying).

Basically, I’ve been on set for a few days for an upcoming film titled ‘Broken’, following the story of a young girl who falls into a coma. In order to get lunch with said actors, I had to first sit in a draughty, freezing church (when I say freezing, I mean freezing) for TWELVE hours. With minimal breaks and one measly lunch break. Wow. I sat on the same pew all day. My bum was numb, and I was cold and tired. Urgh! Then the same again on Friday, and then we relocated to a nearby pub (right down the theatre from where I was seeing JCS that night - convenient!). Every other SA got sent home at 12, but me and about 6 others were kept for this extra scene, much to our disappointment as we were still being paid the same amount of money anyway. So after 3 hours of hanging around (‘the’ lunch!!) we were then released, as they can’t see us in the pub shot anyway! Oh well, everyone else missed out on lunch with TR and CM! TR also helped me squeeze my car out of a tiny spot. Good man!

And so I went home, napped, and came back to the SAME road in Potters Bar (know a new back road now) to go see JCS performed by the ELODS crew. Very well done, just not quite my cup of tea. But loved some of the effects.

Well… that’s it for now I think! Here’s a couple of photos I got on the day:

Tim Roth, ladies and gentlemen.

Broken filming sign.

Twins on set.
